Scent Detection–The College of Scent Dogs, City&Guilds Certified Instructors €195
Join “The College of Scent Dogs”, City and Guild certified instructors in Scent detection classes using the most advanced equipment. We welcome dogs of all breeds over 16 weeks, even dogs that are reactive or fearful. We have small classes in a safe, fully enclosed environment in the Burren Nature Sanctuary in Kinvara and Clarecastle. Our introduction courses are 6 weeks in duration and work on building your dog’s scent I.D on the target odour of gun oil. Your dog will learn to search on que and begin to develop the foundations of a systematic search. You will be given a homework box to practice and to condition your dog to the odour. Each class will be fun, with your dog doing free searches off lead (One dog at a time in an enclosed area). Once you have completed your introduction course you can join our weekly scent club and other scent workshops throughout the year.
